CMAss Robotics Team participates in THE IET/MATE HONG KONG REGIONAL - UNDERWATER ROBOT CHALLENGE 2019 on 27-28 APR 2019 at Tseung Kwan O Swimming Pool. 

 

The 18th annual MATE international ROV competition will take place June 20-22, 2019 at the Kingsport Aquatics Center in Kingsport, Tennessee, USA.  Regional contests will take across the U.S. and around the world. 

 

This year’s competition theme highlights the role that ROVs play and crew that can operate in the freshwater environments of Boone Lake, Boone Dam, and the South Fork of the Holston River. 

The specific tasks for the ROV and operators include:

1) Ensuring Public Safety

2) Maintaining Healthy Waterways

3) Preserving History
